We are delighted to be welcoming campers back to our beautiful woodland from the 4th of July!
However, if you’ve stayed with us before your experience may be a little different this time and if you’re new, we hope you can enjoy the site too and that everyone can have a relaxing holiday whilst still staying safe.
THE RULES FOR CAMPERS
The new rules we have put in place for the campsite are based on government guidance and are there to keep campers and staff SAFE.
You MUST bring YOUR OWN camping toilet for your party. The government recommends campsites have a toilet for each ‘bubble’ of people. As you can imagine it is impossible to facilitate this on most campsites, therefore ‘bubbles’/parties must bring their own camping toilet with them to adhere to this guidance.
Our toilets will be open but for emergency use only. For example if your own camping toilet is in use and it, unfortunately, cannot wait!
DO NOT use the woodland as your toilet facility. If you do, you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund.
Hygiene – guidance
Each party will have their own camping toilet so don’t forget loo roll! You will also need to remember to bring your own soap and hand sanitiser. You must remember to use these regularly to protect staff and other campers.
Please adhere to the government guidance of keeping 2 meters apart from other campers and staff, especially if there’s a queue for the showers or the drinking water tap. We understand everyone has their own views on what is safe but we ask all campers to be respectful of others and keep the 2-meter distance.
If we receive any complaints that people aren’t respecting social distancing you will be given a warning and may be asked to leave the site with no refund.
We ask all children to be supervised at all times so they do not come into contact with other children. We know this is sad but it’s necessary to keep everyone on site safe.
If a member of your party becomes unwell
If a member of your party becomes unwell before your stay, please let us know in as much time as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you and move your holiday.
If a member of your party becomes unwell on site, inform us and return home immediately. Self-isolate and report to the NHS, following their guidance.
The up to date government guidance can be found here https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus
Our wardens will do everything they can to keep everyone safe. They will greet at a distance, however, unfortunately, they won’t be able to help you with transporting your luggage to your pitch but we do have wheelbarrows on site.
The wardens will also carry out extra, thorough cleaning of the emergency toilets and drinking water tap.
We hope that if these rules are followed by everyone all our campers will have a much needed enjoyable and relaxing stay.
Please, stay safe.
